Billington Welding & Manufacturing is one of Central California's premier custom metal fabrication facilities. We have been meeting commercial manufacturing needs since 1969. BWM, Inc. is actively seeking individuals to fill two open positions of CAD Design/Drafter.

The individuals must possess at least two years of mechanical design experience in the manufacturing field with strong math skills. This is a hands on environment where you are expected to interact with clients often at their facilities taking specifications and making preliminary designs. You will be involved in the projects from conception to completion working with other designers/engineers, fabricators, and machinists. We have a wide range of on going projects so you will never be bored.

Job Requirements:
Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CAD certificate from trade school or equivalent
• Autocad 2000 or above
• 3D Modeling Exp. is a plus
• Solidworks/Cosmos is required but we are willing to train
• Two or more years of Mechanical CAD drafting
• Design Exp. of food processing equipment, conveyors, ect. is a plus
• Any type of Mechanical Design & Development is a plus
• Working knowledge of a machine shop is a plus
Other:
• Ability to visualize a product
• Proficient in Microsoft office Products
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Math skills to include a solid understanding of Geometry and Trigonometry
• Must demonstrate the ability to take drafting projects from conception to completion

This individual must possess at least two years of mechanical design experience in the manufacturing field. This is a hands-on environment where you are expected to interact with clients often at their facilities taking specifications and making preliminary designs. You will be involved in the projects from conception to completion working with other designers/engineers, fabricators, and machinists. We have a wide range of on going projects so you will never be bored. This is a job shop environment which entails short lead times and the ability to differentiate critical data from extraneous data. Job Requirements:

• AAS Mechanical Design or Greater
• AutoCAD 2000 or above
• Solidworks 2005 or above
• Two or more years of Mechanical CAD drafting
• Bilingual is a plus
• Design Exp. of food processing equipment, conveyors, ect. is a plus
• Working knowledge of a machine and or fabrication shop is a plus

This individual must possess at least five years of experience. This is a job shop environment which entails working on short notice and you will be expected to put in overtime. We support many different production lines throughout the Central Valley on an emergency basis which requires weekend work. Maintain a high degree of quality, quantity, safety and keep work area clean. Job Requirements:
Education/Experience:
• Five years journeyman machining experience, (mill, lathe, and grinding)
• Have and maintain tools necessary to perform job requirements
• Knowledge or experience of machining methods and techniques with a high degree of skill
• Under minimal supervision and directions, work from drawings, sketches, specifications, handbook formulas and instructions
• SurfCAM or other CAM Application Experience is a plus
• Bilingual is a plus
• Working knowledge of a fabrication shop or other manufacturing process is a plus
Other:
• Ability to visualize a product/part
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Good Math skills

Experience reading drawings, layout skills required. Also, experienced with Mig & Tig welders.

Installation and maintenance of industrial and food processing equipment. Drug Screen & physical required.
